Should I switch to a more wintery fragrance like vanilla for fall?
I can't wear most perfumes because they are just too strong and chemically smelling for me. I wear a lavender perfume from Herbal Garden (it's actually more like a body spray because it's so light). I never get sick of the smell and I've also heard that men love it (my ex said he loved how I smell when I wore it). But, should I switch to a scent that is a little more wintery for fall, like vanilla? I like vanilla, but can't handle really sickly sweet stuff like B&BW warm vanilla sugar. Can someone recommend a good, light but long-lasting vanilla fragrance for me? Or is it ok to wear lavender all year-round?
I know some women actually wear a little vanilla extract, which you can buy in the baking aisle at the grocery store. Make sure you get the genuine, not the imitation.
I like the way you describe your lavender, I will have to try that. I love lavender, but most so-called lavender products don't really smell like it.
